About THe Artist

Imani is an Illustrator and Designer based in the Bay Area where she was born and raised. She graduated from California College of the Arts with her BFA in Illustration in the Fall of 2021. She currently works as a graphic designer at SpeedPro Eastbay. Along with a full time design job she maintains a steady flow as a freelance illustration artist.

 

Imani is interested in editorial illustration and visual Effects. She enjoys paying close attention to detail that visual effects work takes and the creative thinking editorial work takes. In her free time she is learning 3D software to help enhance her practice. Her work is done in  multiple styles and with multiple mediums but has been described as being consistently bold and meaningful.
